“The experience for Faith was life changing. Faith was able to gain new perspectives on learning and career goals that impact her current motivation to strive for excellence academically. Faith has never been big on academics in general however her experience with the Gift Center has triggered new desires and feelings around giving her all in whatever she is doing. For example, today she could not wait to share with me that she received a 95 on a Chemistry exam that she studied diligently for. Her internship was another amazing experience that gave her the opportunity to get her feet wet in the area of baking which is one of her interests. Thankful that she gets the opportunity to continue to participate as a Gift Center scholar!!!”
